Alpha School invites you to architect an AI-powered, scalable literacy program that delivers more transformative learning in 2 hours than conventional schools accomplish in an entire day. You'll design adaptive workshop experiences, interpret live student performance data, and partner with engineers to create literacy platforms that extend your influence to hundreds of learners.

• Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension.
• Creating individualized motivational experiences that engage students and foster a lasting passion for reading.
• Reviewing student performance metrics to iteratively improve instructional methods and identify actionable trends.
• Working alongside the technology team to assess and refine AI-powered literacy solutions.

• Bachelor's degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of experience providing small‑group reading interventions to early elementary students.
• Capable of evaluating reading levels, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated instruction independent of pre‑packaged curricula.
• Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and adept at responding to student interaction patterns.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship.
• Available to work on-site at one of our campus locations:
  Chantilly (Washington), VA;
  Lake Forest (Orange County), CA;
  San Francisco, CA;
  Miami, FL; or New York City, NY.

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position, immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Compensation is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year (40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year). Payment period is weekly.
