Position DetailsThe Department of English and Writing in the College of Arts and Letters at the University of Tampa invites applications for a full‑time continuing position as Assistant Teaching Professor of English and Writing, beginning August 2026.
The on‑campus, in‑person teaching load consists of seven four‑hour academic writing courses per year. In addition to teaching duties, candidates will contribute to the Academic Writing Program through curricular initiatives, committee work, and may have the opportunity to serve as Assistant Director of the Academic Writing Program.
Successful candidates will have a terminal degree in English or a related field, college‑ or university‑level teaching experience in academic writing, and a demonstrated commitment to scholarly or professional activity.
