Overview
Our Tampa, Florida (FL) office is looking for a Civil Operator or Designer with 6+ years of experience to join our Roadway team!
Responsibilities- Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards
- Develop technical drawings and plans
- Prepare drawings and plans of substantial complexity and perform multifaceted calculations as needed
- Perform day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision
- Apply knowledge of engineering principles and suggest design changes
- Maintain drawing database
- Supervise and train CAD staff
- Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control
- Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn’s practices, procedures, and standards
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (associates degree preferred)
- Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings
- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Bentley products
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills, and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Willingness to mentor and teach others
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
