Junior Electrical Estimator

Colwill Engineering, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated Jr. Electrical Estimator to join our team.

The Jr. Electrical estimator will be supporting the Estimating team by helping create detailed estimates, cost studies and competitive bids, he/she will assist the Senior Estimators and report to the Chief Estimator. We will provide training; no previous experience is necessary.

This position is located in our Tampa Office, Full-time in-person position. Monday through Friday.

• Assist in estimating electrical projects, including materials, labor, and time requirements.
• Support senior estimators with the preparation of cost breakdowns and project scopes.
• Work with Excel to create and maintain accurate spreadsheets for project estimates and budgeting.
• Analyze blueprints and technical specifications to provide accurate estimates.

• Recent graduates from an engineering program or related field.
• Electricians with at least two years of field experience.
• Individuals with strong mathematical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel.
• No prior estimating experience is necessary we will train the right person.
