Job Responsibilities- Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
- Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
- Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
- Production of daily written shop reports
- Minimum Education:
High School - Minimum years of experience: 3
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector
- Computer
Skills:
Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications - Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work well independently and with others
- Need reliable transportation
- Non‑Destructive Testing (NDT) certifications (e.g.: UT, MT, PT)
- Experience performing QA/QC of bridge and highway structures fabrication
- AWS D1.1/D1.5 Experience
- Coating Inspection experience
