Wilson & Girgenti, P.A. is seeking an Estimator to join our multidisciplinary engineering firm for producing engineering estimates across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection/Alarm, and Structural disciplines.

Coordinate and prepare simple to moderately complex estimates from intake through calculation and client delivery. Maintain documentation, assess RFP/RFQ responses, and manage estimate reports.

• Take-charge attitude using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe PDF.
• Problem solve, stay organized, and write and proofread clearly.
• Coordinate and maintain team documentation for RFPs/RFQs.
• Draft estimates and communicate across teams and disciplines to meet strict deadlines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly estimate reports and spreadsheets.
• Maintain estimate logs and related files.
• Follow up on leads and outstanding estimates.

• Take direction and think independently when given tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe, and Excel.
• Experience with in related industries (MEP, FP, and Structural engineering/construction).
• Familiarity with RFP and RFQ procedures.
• Must be familiar with reading construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical plans.
• High level of quality, consistency, and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Flexible, ability to shift priorities under pressure while maintaining routines.
• Work independently with minimal supervision while functioning as part of a team.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Business, or Communications preferred but not required.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in estimating or related fields in the A&E Industry.
