Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer I at Orion Edge Group Inc. is a new position in the defense technology sector. The role involves supporting the full lifecycle of complex, mission‑critical hardware design.

• Circuit Design & Analysis Support:
  Assist in the design, development, and testing of analog, digital, and/or power electronics circuits and subsystems.
• Documentation & Specification:
  Create and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, wiring diagrams, cable specifications, and design review materials.
• Testing and Validation:
  Perform hands‑on lab work using standard test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, multimeters) to debug, troubleshoot, and validate electronic hardware performance.
• Component Management:
  Research and analyze component obsolescence issues and support the identification of replacement parts in compliance with project and industry standards.
• Cros­‑Functional
  
  Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with embedded systems, RF, mechanical, software, and systems engineers to ensure seamless system integration and performance.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant technical field.
• Experience:
  
  1–2 years of professional or academic experience (including internships) in an electrical engineering environment.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Experience working in a lab environment, familiarity with basic RF lab tools and procedures, and familiarity with microelectronics CAD tools or VHDL/Verilog for FPGAs.
• Citizenship:
  Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.

Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 per year
