- Assist with electrical design, schematic review, and PCB layout verification.
- Perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting of prototypes and production units.
- Support firmware/hardware integration efforts with senior engineers.
- Create and update engineering documents, test reports, wiring diagrams, and BOMs.
- Work hands‑on in OPSWAT’s hardware test lab and manufacturing environment.
- Help evaluate components, suppliers, and hardware assemblies for reliability and quality.
- Participate in root‑cause analysis and corrective‑action processes for hardware issues.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, QA, and supply‑chain teams to ensure hardware meets security and performance standards.
- Assist with hands‑on tasks, such as crimping, soldering, and harness design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field with two years of experience.
- Understanding of circuits, electronics, PCB design, and electrical troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to read schematics and follow technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Experience with embedded systems or microcontrollers (Arduino, STM
32, ESP
32, etc.). - Exposure to PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, OrCAD, etc.).
- Internship or project experience in hardware design or testing.
- Knowledge of hardware manufacturing, QA, or cybersecurity hardware concepts.
- Familiarity with power electronics.
- Computer Science skills.
- IT server builds and related components.
- Hands‑on engineering experience in a modern hardware production facility.
- Training and mentorship from experienced hardware, firmware, and manufacturing engineers.
