Process Engineer II at Synergetics.
Objectives/Purpose of JobThe job functions and responsibility for the development of manufacturing processes for new products into the manufacturing facility. This position will also support ongoing improvements to existing processes/products and manufacturing equipment. This position requires three to five years in project leadership.
Key Activities/Responsibilities- Perform process development and technology transfer for new products through design and execution of experimental and validation protocols.
- Perform manufacturing support improvement projects such as batch size scale‑up, product hold time extensions, and other improvements to existing products.
- Participate in cross‑functional teams for project progression and investigation.
- Assist with capital expenditure projects.
- Liaison with Technical Services and MOB teams in the development and review of new and existing compounding/filling processes.
- Meet and maintain all required training during the year (SOP, EHS, and HR).
- Support operational excellence and EHS initiatives.
- Assume responsibility for the GMP, ISO, EHS awareness and compliance within the respective area.
- Attend and participate in OpEx improvement initiatives such as reducing costs and OEE improvements.
- All other duties, as assigned.
- BS in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
- Previous leadership required.
- Strong engineering and manufacturing skills in a cGMP environment.
- Mechanical aptitude preferred.
- Able to work quickly and under pressure.
- Good documentation, computer, and math skills.
- Must be detail oriented and quality conscious.
- Good team oriented and excellent communication skillsli>
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
