Base Pay Range
$57.00/hr - $72.00/hr
Job DescriptionInsight Global is looking for Cleared Aeromechanical Engineering resources to support their federal customer in the Greater Tampa Bay area. This person will be responsible for the engineering and design of unmanned aerial vehicles and systems. They will perform 2D design of parts for fabrication and assembly, develop and analyze mechanical systems for aircraft like engines, airframes and more. They will also aid in the manufacturing process ensuring the parts meet quality and performance standards and conduct simulations, testing and prototyping to do so.
RequiredSkills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience in the aerospace or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical or a related engineering field
- Experience with CAD software (Solid Works or CATIA)
- Experience with UAVs or RC aircraft
- Currently holds a Secret Clearance
- Understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 regulatory standards
- Familiarity with 3D printing technologies
- Experience with Finite Element Analysis and Computational Fluid Dynamics
- Master's degree in the above degree fields
- Experience with Star-CCM+ and XLFR
