Mott Mac Donald is looking for a Structural Engineer to join our growing transportation team in Florida:
Delray, Jacksonville, Panama City, Pensacola, and Tampa. This team member specializes in bridge design but may also work in a variety of structural fields including buildings and miscellaneous structures for transportation, water‑wastewater, marine and energy.

• Perform structural analysis and design of bridges and other structures using industry‑standard analysis and design software programs.
• Have working knowledge of Micro Station and LEAP bridge design software.
• Plan creation, design, and checking for conventional bridge projects.
• Assist in preparing and modifying reports, studies, preliminary designs, and detailed designs across all phases of bridge design.
• Work on projects involving a variety of superstructure, substructure, and foundation types.
• Assist in the preparation of quantity take‑offs/calculations, preconstruction unit cost development, and cost estimates/engineer’s estimates for projects.
• Have working knowledge of concrete, steel, concrete masonry, timber, spread and pile foundations, and retaining/sheet pile walls.
• Have working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.

• B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited engineering program.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in bridge design.
• Possess Engineer in Training or Professional Engineer license.
• Proven technical writing and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including organization and attention to detail.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
