Storm Duty RequirementsTampa Electric and its sister companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our Tampa Electric customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company’s rules and procedures.
Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment.

The Data Architects are responsible for the “back end” components of the organization’s Data Analytics environment from standards, architecture, and design perspectives. They oversee the implementation and support of the data movement and engineering processes required to populate the organization’s custom-built analytic data structures such as staging areas, data warehouse and data marts, and design of these structures. They handle strategy and design related to federation of custom-built data architecture with vendor-provided solutions, provide technical oversight and assure quality of work done by data analysts and data engineers and developers, and serve as SME with hands‑on experience with SAP and Azure platforms.
