Senior Test Engineer Labview​/TestStand

Location: Tampa, FL |
Schedule: Full-time, on-site

An established manufacturer has been awarded a new program and is expanding its engineering team to support the growth. The company is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to develop and coordinate functional test platforms, support new program startups, and work closely with customers and cross-functional teams on technical issues. Due to ITAR requirements, candidates must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

• Develop functional test software platforms from specifications
• Coordinate test platforms built by either in-house or outside vendors
• Assist in setting up test areas for on-time startup of new programs
• Meet with customers and all levels of management on technical issues
• Write reports, test procedures, proposal inputs, and technical papers
• Coach and mentor Test Technicians on new test equipment and advanced troubleshooting methods
• Participate in continuous improvement projects to improve test yields and reduce cost
• Attend classes and seminars to stay current on test equipment as needed

• Minimum of two years related experience
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes including SMT
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing test software platforms (e.g., LabVIEW, Test Stand)
• Strong computer and communication skills required
• Ability to work across inter-department, intra-department, and external contacts
• Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
• Ability to obtain a US Government Clearance, if required
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident (ITAR requirement)

• LabVIEW experience preferred, or Test Stand experience

This role offers the chance to help launch a newly awarded program, working directly with customers and management while mentoring others on advanced test methods.
