Inspector, Engineering, Structural Engineer

• Conduct on-site inspections of buildings and structures (new builds, renovations, or existing structures).
• Evaluate the structural integrity, stability, and safety of building components (e.g., foundations, beams, columns, slabs).
• Check compliance with approved design plans, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor construction processes to ensure proper materials, methods, and sequences are being used.
• Identify poor workmanship, substandard materials, or unauthorized changes to the design.
• Prepare detailed reports.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections.
• Visually detect structural problems such as cracks, deformation, and corrosion.
• Effectively communicate findings to the design professional of record.

• H.S. Diploma, 48 months of experience, Alternate education/combination:
  Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to multitask and take initiative
• Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with phone systems
• Previous experience with Construction / Engineering Environment is preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Office software is required
