your specific responsibilities:

support the development and review of engineering reports and studies. This includes preparing and dessiminating the strategic highway safety plan (shsp) tracking reports, study documentation and presentation of findings and conclusions, analysis of engineering data, and coordination of resources necessary to produce reports.

support the development and management of professional and contractual service contracts, and other types of agreements, that support traffic operations. This includes project management responsibilities associated with procuring contracts, issuing task work orders, reviewing contract deliverables, reviewing and processing invoices, coordinating department personnel and other agencies associated with work under the contract, preparing contract correspondence, maintaining project files, and actively participating in project meetings.

participate in meetings, on committees, task teams and other groups with internal and external customers to represent traffic engineering interests. Includes, providing useful commentary and review of work products as well as developing correspondence and follow-up contact as needed.

assist the district traffic safety program engineer with coordinating project production with the department’s work…
