Tampa Electric and its sister companies serve a role in providing critical services to our community during an emergency. Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our Tampa Electric customers. Team members are required to work in their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company's rules and procedures.

This Manager-level position reports to the Sr. Director, Lighting and Meter Services, and provides leadership in the areas of specification, testing, maintenance, and procurement of revenue metering and load research equipment. Managing activities that may include engineering, meter testing, random sampling, load surveying, instrument testing, standards and calibration, billing and load survey equipment specification, meter procurement and installation, meter data translation, work planning and scheduling, maintaining meter and associated equipment records, dielectric testing of aerial devices, rubber gloves and blankets.

Responsible for all aspects of the department’s operation and is accountable for ensuring adherence to all company policies and operating requirements.
