CAD Drafter

Job Title

Creating detailed technical drawings and schematics for construction or engineering projects. Their responsibilities include collaborating with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet specifications, updating and revising drawings, and maintaining organized project documentation.

- GSI Technologies & Software

- Proficiency in AutoCAD Software and Related tools

- Knowledge of engineering and architectural principles.

- Strong attention to detail for accurate drafting.

- Good communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.

Support the Engineering, Construction, and Project Management (ECPM) team within Electric Delivery (ED) with drafting needs. The ECPM team oversees the planning, design, and execution of major capital projects within ED. Including Transmission, Substation, and Distribution project.

- Oversee Drafting Standards

- Assist with contractor lead drafting

- Quality Assurance

- Ad hoc drafting needs

- Document management and integration

- Coordination between departments

Education generally involves a degree or diploma in drafting, architecture, or civil engineering with certifications in CAD being a plus, or more years of experience in AutoCAD drafting is typically required.

Intermediate Level

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Tampa,FL.
