Position PurposeThe Parts Research Analyst provides customer service for the Parts Operation Center or assigned location. This role interfaces with internal and external customers and Field Operations. Ensures all Briggs Industrial Solutions standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.
Responsibilities- Provide accurate and timely customer service and support relating to parts inquiries required for order completions with internal / external customers, vendors, supplies and branches using applicable tools and established processes
- Prepare quotes and order requests based on equipment type
- Research, analyze and resolve parts discrepancies, to include purchases, shipments and delivery
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and support documents across multiple interfaces
- Enter all pertinent data into the Company’s systems
- Receive inbound calls for industrial equipment parts inquiries.
- Perform parts research duties through web-based, adobe programs as well as hard copy manuals and microfiche
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Excellent Customer Service and multi-tasking skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with a high sense of urgency in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- High school degree required
- 1+ year customer service and/or call center experience preferred
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment
