Dispensary Associate - Part-Time at Trulieve
Base pay: $14.00/hr (position also eligible for tips)
Trulieve is a rapidly-growing, patient-centric cannabis company that uses hand-grown, pesticide‑free products to help patients with serious medical conditions. Our trained staff works closely with physicians to ensure patients receive the right product and dosage.
Position SummaryThe Dispensary Associate guides customers through the cannabis purchasing journey, providing education, exceptional customer service, and regulatory compliance.
Key Duties And Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, guests, and coworkers.
- Show empathy and compassion to patients.
- Deliver the Tru Experience by maintaining high product knowledge and service standards.
- Assist Managers and Shift Supervisors with returns in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare and process patient orders promptly and efficiently.
- Follow Trulieve Policies and Procedures.
- Collaborate with leadership to enhance the customer experience.
- Assist customers with product or device issues.
- Work with leadership and management to resolve customer issues.
- Document customer issues and concerns on the patient profile.
- Maintain a clean and well‑stocked workstation throughout the shift.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by Management.
- Maintain a clear driving record to fulfill delivery driver responsibilities.
- Follow all Trulieve Policies and Procedures as a delivery associate.
- Process all online orders, including deliveries, within a 2‑hour timeframe.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent; experience in retail or customer service preferred.
- Minimum age of 21 (or 18 in CT, PA, WV).
- Prior cash‑handling experience required.
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills and professionalism.
- Ability to follow written or oral instructions and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient with electronic equipment and telecommunications devices.
- Physical and mental capacity to perform job duties.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record for delivery role.
- Pass a comprehensive background check.
- Must be able to move throughout the workplace and use tools as necessary.
- Must function independently, maintain integrity, and interact respectfully with a diverse client base.
- Must be capable of handling ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, or hostile individuals.
- Move or traverse entire facility, including confined spaces.
- Manipulate objects weighing up to 50 lbs and perform tasks such as pushing/pulling and lifting.
- Occasionally remain seated.
- Flexible hours depending on store needs; available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Maximum 25 hours per week with availability for after‑hours based on business needs.
