Well established, locally owned construction company seeks an Accountant to join our dynamic team. In this permanent role, you will manage all financial transactions and support the financial health of our company.
Base pay range$60,000.00–$70,000.00 per year

- Manage all aspects of accounting; billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses.
- Oversee payments of all accounts; ensuring all accounts are paid on time.
- Process accounts and collecting payments.
- Manage payroll system and maintain accurate records.
- Oversee the preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Monitor financial details to ensure legal compliance.
- Coordinate with the management team to work on financial forecasting, budgets, cost‑reduction strategies, and funding.
- Analyze company’s financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs, and compliance with budgets. Issue regular status and ad‑hoc reports to senior management.
- Assist in producing accurate and timely financial statements.
- Assist in leading the budgeting and forecasting initiatives for the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a senior‑level finance or accounting position.
- Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including GAAP.
- Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial regulations.
- Strong working knowledge of detailed financial data analysis.
- Experience in a construction industry is a plus.
- Proficient user of finance software.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Solid analytical and decision‑making skills.
