Position DescriptionThe Sr. Manager, Corporate Finance & Business Analysis will be a critical partner to the Transformation Office and various functional leads. This role is responsible for rigorously reviewing, challenging, and ultimately validating the financial benefit estimates (cost savings, revenue uplift, working capital improvements) associated with large‑scale business transformation initiatives, ensuring benefit targets are realistic, measurable and traceable. The role will also lead the financial analysis of business performance, act as an independent business advisor, evaluate capital allocation effectiveness, and oversee monitoring and benchmarking of key financial metrics relative to direct and indirect competitors.
The position reports to the VP of FP&A and offers exposure to many functional departments, creating a challenging, dynamic and rewarding work environment.
- Benefit Modeling & Review:
Lead the detailed review and critical assessment of financial models, focusing on assumptions, methodology and data integrity. - Validation & Sign‑off:
Provide independent, objective validation and formal sign‑off on the financial viability of all high‑value transformation initiatives before approval. - Tracking & Governance:
Embed validated benefits into financial planning processes and monitor actual realization post‑implementation, reporting variances and collaborating on corrective strategies. - Stakeholder Management:
Serve as the primary North American finance liaison to the Transformation Office, presenting findings and recommendations. - Business Analysis:
Evaluate profitability by customer, product and production location, identifying opportunities to increase profitability and efficiency. - Capital Allocation:
Coordinate capital allocation analysis, track opportunity projects, conduct post‑implementation reviews and work with FP&A to incorporate returns into projections. - Pricing & Volume Capture:
Partner with Commercial Finance to evaluate pricing and volume opportunities to maximize scale economics. - Competitive Analysis:
Partner with Commercial Strategy to incorporate financial competitor analysis, reporting internal performance relative to competitors quarterly.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power
BI, with proficiency in PowerPoint and Word. - Strong finance and analytical skills, with demonstrated critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Technical and data management skills, preferred experience with SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud Planning.
- Ability to summarize large amounts of information and communicate succinctly.
- Excellent time‑management skills and ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent presentation skills and comfort speaking before executive management and large audiences.
- Team player who can work across multiple functions and build strong relationships.
- Results‑oriented with a sense of urgency and ability to work under deadline pressures.
