Senior Financial Analyst​/Manager

Responsibilities

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Financial Analyst / Manager with extensive experience in joint venture real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional analytical skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and a deep understanding of residential and commercial development projects. This role involves developing and managing complex cash flow models, pro forma statements, and financial forecasts to support strategic decision-making and deal structuring.

• Develop and manage complex Excel-based cash flow models for pro forma, forecasting, and projections.
• Create detailed waterfall structures to analyze and distribute financial returns among joint venture partners.
• Conduct sensitivity analyses to assess the impact of various assumptions and market conditions on project feasibility and profitability.

• Understand and navigate the complexities of joint venture real estate transactions, including partnership structures, equity contributions, and profit-sharing arrangements.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and development teams to structure and negotiate joint venture agreements.
• Ensure alignment of joint venture strategies with overall corporate objectives and project goals.

• Participate in the strategic planning process by providing financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Evaluate potential development opportunities and contribute to the formulation of acquisition and disposition strategies.
• Monitor and report on the financial performance of ongoing projects, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

• Analyze and structure real estate deals to optimize financial returns and minimize risks.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and investment memos for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in the due diligence process for new acquisitions and development projects, including financial feasibility studies and market analysis.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA, MSRE) preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial analysis, real estate development, or investment management, with a focus on joint venture partnerships.
• Expert-level proficiency in Excel, including advanced financial modeling, scenario analysis, and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of residential and commercial real estate development projects.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
