GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Serves as the Division’s Financial Leader and Strategic Partner for Physician Operation’s Leadership team. Interprets financial performance/results to identify opportunities to strengthen performance. Leads interactions and MORs for Division and Hospital Leadership. Responsible for the oversight of the Director of Revenue, Assistant Controller, and Financial Analysts. Responsible for the creation and/or validation of proformas related to acquisitions, provider recruitment, and new program development.

Provides strategic guidance and insight for projections, forecasting and budgeting.

SUPERVISOR: West Florida Division Vice President of Practice Operations (dotted lines to Practice Operations Group CFO and Division CFO)

SUPERVISES: Assistant Controller, Director of Revenue, and Financial Analysts

• Partner with and provide strategic guidance to Division, hospitals and operational management through financial analysis, ad hoc reports, proformas and forecasts – including establishment of performance targets and operational execution to achieve targeted performance
• Assist finance team with presentation and analysis of monthly financial results, including leadership of MOR presentations, for Group, Division and hospital leadership. The focus of these presentation is to identify and drive strategies for operational improvement based upon analysis of run rate performance and/or forecasts that identify variation from budgets or trend.
• Strategically focus operational actions through projecting, forecasting and budgeting financial results, while also working with operational leadership and management to implement strategies and tactics to improve forecasted results
