Role Summary

Our client, a local investment firm with related technology investments, has asked for help in recruiting for a key position. We are seeking a senior finance leader to lead the company’s capital strategy, fundraising efforts, and forward-looking financial analytics, with a strong emphasis on healthcare business models, utilization-driven revenue, and recurring membership economics.

This role leads strategic finance and FP&A, translating app utilization, patient and provider activity, and membership behavior into investor-grade models and capital plans. The role partners closely with the CFO and CEO.

• Lead and execute equity and debt fundraising initiatives, including venture, growth equity, structured capital, and strategic financing
• Develop and manage the company’s capital strategy and financing roadmap in partnership with the CFO and CEO
• Prepare and oversee investor materials, pitch decks, financial models, and diligence support
• Support investor discussions, valuation analysis, and financing negotiations

• Lead and manage the FP&A function, the ownership of forecasting, budgeting, long-range planning and scenario analysis
• Build and maintain forward-looking financial models driven by:
  • Membership growth, retention, and lifetime value
  • Pricing and recurring revenue structures
  • Provider capacity, supply, and cost dynamics
  • Build unit economics and cohort-based analyses connecting patient and provider activity to revenue, margins, and cash flow
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses related to:
  • Changes in utilization and adoption
  • New services or membership offerings
  • Geographic or regulatory expansion
  • Pricing and reimbursement-adjacent dynamics (where applicable)
• Translate complex analytical outputs into clear, credible narratives for investors, the board, and executive leadership

• Partner with Product, Clinical, and Technology teams to ensure financial models reflect real-world healthcare usage and operational constraints
• Support CEO, CFO and Board decision-making with data-driven insights tied to growth strategy and capital needs
• Serve as a strategic thought partner to leadership on scaling a healthcare-enabled platform

• Coordinate with the CFO, Controller, and external advisors to support compliant execution of financing transactions
• Contribute to board-level discussions on capital strategy, growth planning, and long-term financial outlook

• 8+ years of experience in healthcare finance, including exposure to healthcare services, digital health, or healthcare-enabled platforms
• Demonstrated experience supporting or leading capital raises
• Deep expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and unit economics
• Experience analyzing recurring revenue or membership-based healthcare models
• Strong executive, investor, and board-level communication skills

• Experience in technology-enabled healthcare or platform-based care delivery
• Familiarity with healthcare regulatory, utilization, and compliance considerations
• MBA, CFA, or similar advanced credential (preferred, not required)

• Highly analytical with strong business judgment
• Comfortable working with imperfect data and evolving healthcare models
• Trusted partner to clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders
• Able to clearly explain complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences
