Summary Responsible for performing all financial and reporting tasks under the U.S Virgin Islands ACC between HUD and NTHDC. Under the direction of the Director of NTHDC, the Accounting and Reporting Specialist will work with Contract Specialists and the Director of the PBCA to assist with TRACS/iMAX files, monthly voucher payments, banking payment files, monthly, quarterly and annual PBCA reports.

Summary Responsible for performing all financial and reporting tasks under the U.S Virgin Islands ACC between HUD and NTHDC. Under the direction of the Director of NTHDC, the Accounting and Reporting Specialist will work with Contract Specialists and the Director of the PBCA to assist with TRACS/iMAX files, monthly voucher payments, banking payment files, monthly, quarterly and annual PBCA reports.
Essential Job Functions
Performs all accounting and reporting IBPS and PBT tasks under the ACC. Creates and monitors monthly HAP payment files in conjunction with the bank and the software system, ensuring all monthly HAP payments are paid accurately and timely. Monitor, troubleshoot, download, and upload TRACS/iMAX files from HUD’s Secure Systems using internal software. Assists the Contract Specialist to reconcile and process monthly Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) vouchers.

Assists in the generation of the monthly PBCA invoice. Assists in the generation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual PBCA Reports. Assists in the monitoring of the Annual Work Plan and Work In Process. Maintains electronic files and records retention in accordance with HUD and internal policy. Perform any special projects or produce ad hoc reports as necessary. Utilize HUD systems to ensure data integrity.
