Peoples Gas is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Analytics team. In this role, you'll provide analytical and financial modeling expertise that supports long-term financial planning, customer growth, capital investments, regulatory strategy, and other important business initiatives.

You’ll independently analyze complex financial and operational information, develop and maintain financial models, create dashboards and executive-level presentations, and collaborate with teams across the organization to turn data into meaningful business insights. You’ll also have opportunities to improve how financial analytics is performed through automation, technology, and AI-enabled solutions.

You’ll independently develop financial analyses that help evaluate business strategies and investment opportunities, including:

• Long-term financial planning
• Customer feasibility and growth opportunities
• Capital projects
• Commercial terms
• Corporate initiatives
• Regulatory-related financial considerations

You’ll apply financial modeling techniques such as discounted cash flow (DCF), sensitivity analysis, scenario analysis, and other applicable regulatory financial methodologies to evaluate alternatives and develop recommendations for management.

You’ll help ensure the financial models leaders rely on are accurate, consistent, and well controlled by:

• Maintaining and improving financial models and reporting.
• Managing and documenting model assumptions.
• Supporting model validation and peer review.
• Maintaining version and change controls.
• Reconciling financial information and validating data.
• Incorporating relevant accounting, tax, regulatory, and business-process changes into financial models and methodologies.

You’ll maintain, enhance, and develop financial dashboards, reports, and executive presentations that help leaders understand financial performance and make informed decisions.
