Overview
CWMD Intel Integrator / Regional Planner role at Core One. This position supports USCENTCOM’s Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction (CWMD) and WMD-Terrorism (WMD-T) planning efforts, requiring specialized expertise in WMD-related planning, joint operations, and interagency coordination. The role contributes to high-impact strategic initiatives that shape global counter-WMD policy and operations. This position is contingent upon award.

Responsibilities- Support all phases of the Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP), including Mission Analysis, Course of Action (COA) Development, COA Analysis (Wargaming), and COA Comparison and Decision.
- Develop and refine operational plans and orders in line with COA decisions, commander’s intent, and strategic guidance.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for USCENTCOM in support of USSOCOM-led CWMD and WMD-T planning efforts, including deterrence and global counter terrorism operations.
- Coordinate and assess CWMD and WMD-T plans with the Joint Staff, OSD, other Combatant Commands, and interagency stakeholders.
- Engage in the CWMD/WMD-T community of interest by providing recommendations to enhance plans, policies, and strategies.
- Support the development of joint system concepts and technical solutions to address strategic requirements, including systems analysis, trade studies, and technical optimizations for WMD operations.
- Prepare and deliver detailed operational and technical documentation, reviews, and presentations on WMD-related planning initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate FOIA and MDR requests in compliance with legal standards and USCENTCOM directives. Conduct comprehensive file searches and advise CCJ5 on proper safeguarding and dissemination of sensitive information.
- Graduate of Joint Countering Weapons of Mass Destruction Planning Course (JCPC), CWMD Senior Staff Planners Course, or equivalent CWMD-focused program.
- Minimum 5 years of WMD-related planning experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command HQ, or Service Component HQ supporting a Geographic Combatant Command.
- Strong knowledge of CWMD and WMD-T planning, deterrence strategies, and interagency coordination.
- Proven ability to conduct strategic systems analysis and develop high-level operational designs.
- Excellent written, verbal, and briefing skills.
- Experience in Special Operations and Counter terrorism (CT) planning.
- Familiarity with USCENTCOM’s mission, structure, and operational environment.
- Knowledge of FOIA/MDR legal frameworks and information security protocols.
