The Training and Exercise Analyst supports the development, coordination, and evaluation of MARCENT training and exercise programs to validate operational readiness. This role develops and evaluates training events, collects and analyzes training data to identify capability gaps, and prepares after-action reports and assessments for leadership. The analyst coordinates with joint and coalition training partners to ensure integration of Mission Essential Tasks, supporting plans, and compliance with applicable doctrine.
Leveraging 5–7 years of experience in military exercise planning and evaluation, the analyst provides detailed input on the design, execution, and assessment of training programs, ensuring MARCENT maintains combat-ready forces.

- Develop and evaluate training events to validate readiness.
- Collect and analyze training data to identify capability gaps.
- Prepare after-action reports and assessments for leadership.
- Coordinate with joint/coalition training partners.
- Ensure training and exercise programs align with Mission Essential Tasks and doctrine.
- Support MARCENT leadership in identifying exercise objectives and success criteria.
- Assist in developing SOPs for training and exercise planning.
- Provide advisory support to subordinate units on training and exercise methodology.
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting timelines.
- Ensure training and exercise documentation is archived according to records management standards.

Education, Experience, and Qualification- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 7–10 years of experience with Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) process.
- Extensive knowledge and experience analyzing, planning, designing, and executing military exercises.
- Experience with Mission Essential Tasks, supporting plans, and compliance with applicable doctrine.
- Knowledge of military training and exercise assessment methodologies.
- Secret clearance required.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate training data and identify capability gaps.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and exercise planning tools.
- Effective communication and briefing skills for after-action reporting.
- Collaboration skills to coordinate training with joint and coalition partners.
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, Mac Dill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. Includes participation in field exercises and coordination events.
Physical DemandsPrimarily sedentary office work with some travel and participation in exercise events, which may include field conditions.
Work ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility during major exercises.
License and Other Requirements- Valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card.

TravelMay include CONUS and OCONUS travel to support MARCENT exercises and training events.
