Exercise Analysis Specialist (G6 Support)
The Exercise Analysis Specialist supports MARCENT by providing analysis during the design, execution, and assessment of exercises. This role develops exercise objectives, concepts, Mission Essential Task Lists (METLs), and plans to evaluate readiness and identify areas for improvement. With 3–5 years of experience, the specialist applies knowledge of exercise assessment methodologies to ensure that MARCENT exercises accurately test capabilities, produce actionable lessons learned, and strengthen overall operational readiness.

- Support design, execution, and assessment of MARCENT exercises.
- Develop and refine exercise objectives, concepts, METLs, and plans.
- Collect and analyze exercise data to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
- Assist in preparing after-action reports (AARs) and briefings for leadership.
- Coordinate with MARCENT staff and joint partners to ensure exercise objectives are met.
- Contribute to lessons learned processes and integration into future exercises.
- Support coordination with CENTCOM and partner nations during exercise planning and execution.
- Assist in maintaining documentation of exercise objectives, assessments, and outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure exercise documentation and assessments are archived according to records management standards.

Education / Experience / Qualification- High School Diploma required;
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. - 3–5 years of experience in exercise analysis, planning, or assessment.
- Expertise in exercise design, execution, and evaluation, including developing exercise objectives, concepts, METLs, and plans.
- Secret clearance required.
- Analytical ability to assess exercise outcomes and identify improvement areas.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and exercise planning/assessment tools.
- Strong communication and coordination skills for working with MARCENT staff and joint partners.
- Attention to detail in documentation and reporting of exercise activities.
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, Mac Dill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida.
Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. Includes participation in MARCENT and joint exercise events.
Physical DemandsPrimarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use. May involve travel to support exercise planning, execution, and assessment events.
Work ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600.
May require flexibility during exercise events or surge requirements.
License and Other RequirementsValid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC).

Security ClearanceSecret clearance required.
TravelMay include CONUS and OCONUS travel to support MARCENT exercises and assessments.
