Schedule:

Typically, Mon–Fri during standard duty hours (can flex for mission needs) You will help plan, coordinate, and assess Military Deception (MILDEC) efforts that support operational success. This role sits in a joint planning environment where you work with headquarters staff, component commands, and partners to build MILDEC plans that are synchronized, deconflicted, and executable. Tampa, FL (Mac Dill AFB) What you’ll do Draft, staff, and support execution of MILDEC plans and orders in support of operational objectives
Provide MILDEC subject matter expertise to component commands, including coordination and deconfliction across stakeholders
Help assess MILDEC effectiveness by reviewing Measures of Performance (MOP) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) tied to MILDEC plans
Coordinate MILDEC planning with Counterintelligence (CI) assets as required
Synchronize MILDEC planning and operations with related mission areas like Computer Network Operations (CNO), Electronic Warfare (EW), Operations Security (OPSEC), and Military Information Support Operations (MISO)
Support records safeguarding and related coordination tasks (ex: FOIA/MDR support) as required Required qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance
Graduate of the Defense MILDEC Training Course (per CJCSI 3211.01)
Graduate of a Service or Joint-level MILDEC training course (per USCENTCOM MILDEC policy)
5+ years of MILDEC planning experience
3+ years of experience at a Geographic or Functional Combatant Command Headquarters Nice to have Experience supporting Joint Planning Teams (JPTs) or Operational Planning Teams (OPTs)
Strong briefing and writing skills (decision-ready slides and clear staff packages)
Familiarity working across sensitive coordination channels while protecting sources, methods, and operational equities
