MICROBIOLOGIST II
Contract 1 year
This role involves practical work in the laboratory, including method development, validation, troubleshooting, and quality control responsibilities. It includes performing testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, supporting method transfer and project preparation, ensuring timely project execution.
Key Accountabilities
Perform, analyze, and interpret QC and microbial limits testing in compliance with USP and regulatory standards for raw materials, finished products, and stability samples.Conduct environmental monitoring, including water sampling and testing.Apply microbiology sampling techniques and methods.Investigate laboratory issues and implement CAPA procedures.Support microbiology projects in production or formulation departments.Participate in customer and regulatory audits as the SME in microbiology.Develop and validate testing protocols and equipment qualification procedures.Author and review SOPs and microbiology test methods.Maintain microbiological integrity of environments, equipment, and facilities.Manage product testing per internal and customer specifications.Oversee third-party laboratory testing and data reporting, including environmental monitoring when necessary.Maintain logs for equipment, media, and samples.Ensure the microbiology laboratory is properly supplied and maintained.Perform additional tasks to support business operations as needed.Follow all safety and sustainability policies, seeking clarification when unclear.Report safety or sustainability issues promptly and take corrective actions.Cease work if necessary to maintain safety standards.Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years' microbiology laboratory experience.
