Job Title: Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Location: Fort Myers, FL

Type: Contract

Pay rate: $62 to $67/hr

• Day Shift: 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week
• Night Shift: 12 hours/day, 36 hours/week

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery for an exciting job in Fort Myers, FL.

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to laboring, delivery, and postpartum patients, including high-acuity cases.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using advanced fetal monitoring (AWHONN) and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, and other interventions according to physician or midwife orders.
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and interventions in the Epic EMR system.
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered care.

• Minimum 2+ years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Completed and passed AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring class
• Degree accreditation on profile or minimum 5 years of relevant nursing experience
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring class and EFM certification (preferred)
