PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT-FULL TIME

Location: Bristol Care Center, Tampa, Florida

Relocation Bonus or Sign On Bonus $5000.00

Bristol Care Center is seeking an innovative and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapy Assistant implements and makes recommendations for updates to physical therapy programs for a diverse population of residents.

Pay:
Excellent hourly rates based on experience. (NEW RATE SCALE)

Job Duties
-

· Perform screenings and evaluations of residents with physical functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Physical Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards.

· Delivers skilled physical therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their physical functions.

· Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including progress notes,care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries and billing.

· Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes.

Job Qualifications
-

· Must have or be eligible for Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.

· Minimum of associate degree in physical therapy assistant

· All experience levels considered.
