Job Responsibilities
  • Perform moderate/high complexity clinical testing in the laboratory.
  • Receive, accession, and evaluate specimens for acceptability.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and perform quality control and troubleshooting.
  • Analyze proficiency testing samples and interpret data, taking corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensure supplies are stocked and assist with inventory management.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and company policies and procedures.
  • Perform pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical testing duties, including specimen processing and reporting results.
  • Maintain competency across laboratory sections and participate in ongoing education.
  • Support departmental goals related to service quality, turnaround time, compliance, and patient satisfaction.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant guidelines.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or equivalent preferred.
  • At least 2 years of clinical laboratory experience.
  • Florida license; ASCP certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer use, data entry, and laboratory information systems.
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
  • Dependability and punctuality.
