Advent Health Carrollwood is seeking a Radiology Technician - Imaging to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures on a per diem, PRN basis covering days, weekends, PTO, and sick leave. This role will require maintaining records, documenting clinical information, providing basic patient care, and assisting in the radiology department as needed.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging procedures, including abdominal, pelvic, OB, transvaginal, thyroid, testicular, breast, vascular, and Doppler studies.
- Position patients and equipment, manipulate transducers and technical factors to obtain optimal images and clinical data.
- Record examinations performed and document patient clinical information.
- Assist in radiology department operations and adhere to Florida Hospital Corporate Compliance and all applicable regulations.
- Coordinate equipment service and preventative maintenance.
- High school graduate and graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program.
- Registered with the ARDMS (Amer Reg Diag Med Sonography) or RTS (Registered Technologist – Sonography) required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 4 shifts per month.
Schedule:
PRN/Days (Per Diem). Shift: 1 – Day. Must work a minimum of 4 shifts a month.
