Clinical Pharmacy Technician

This position supports the pharmacy team in medication preparation, patient support, inventory management, and equipment maintenance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

• Prescription & Equipment Preparation and Processing
  • Review and validate prescription drug refill requests and process according to company policies.
  • Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
  • Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and report defects.
• Patient Support & Experience
  • Collect and maintain basic patient information to plan materials and prescriptions.
  • Answer patient questions and respond to basic requests to ensure a positive experience.
• Inventory Maintenance
  • Receive and verify quantities of incoming supplies.
  • Stock and store new supplies and materials.
  • Review expiration dates and identify shortages.
  • Pick and pack materials and supplies.
  • Create inventory tickets and track via data entry.
  • Schedule routine patient deliveries.
• Site & Supplies Maintenance
  • Clean and sanitize surfaces and laminar hood flows.
  • Organize supplies.

• Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 0–6 months of relevant experience.
  • Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire if required by state.
  • Successful enrollment and completion of the company’s training course within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Qualifications & Interests
  • Customer service experience with internal and external customers.
  • Basic mathematical calculations.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Preferred Qualifications & Interests
  • Previous experience as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop and reach for extended periods.
• Carry at least 30 lbs.
• No travel required.
