Job Description:

* Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for eligible candidates

* Up to $10,00 relocation bonus for eligible candidates

Prepares sterile dressings and clean instruments for terminal sterilization. Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient. Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy. Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately. Other duties as assigned. Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Obtains scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures. Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.

Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed. Gowns and gloves the surgeon and assistants. Assists in draping the sterile field. Passes instruments and supplies to the surgeon during the procedure. Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during the procedure.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$23.71 - $44.09
