You’ll be part of a highly structured team with multiple support layers, enabling you to focus on leadership, clinical oversight, and patient care excellence. This is a unique opportunity to lead pharmacy operations, manage teams, and ensure adherence to the highest standards in specialty pharmacy.

$70.00/hr

Schedule

Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET

Location

On-site | Fort Myers, Florida

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the pharmacy department, including pharmacists, technicians, and support staff
  • Conduct patient evaluations and coordinate care plans for oral and injectable therapies
  • Provide patient counseling, answer medication-related questions, and ensure therapy adherence
  • Oversee medication dispensing, QA checks, and documentation in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Develop, maintain, and uphold operating standards and policies in alignment with organizational and accreditation requirements
  • Ensure compliance with specialty pharmacy accreditation standards (NABP, URAC, ACHC, NCODA)
  • Mentor and train staff, conduct performance evaluations, and foster professional development
  • Collaborate with physicians, clinical teams, and pharmacy partners to optimize patient care
Must-Have Qualifications
  • Valid Pharmacist license in the following 21 states: AL, AK, AR, FL, IL, KS, KY, LA, MD, MA, MI, MS, NE, OK, OR, TN, TX, VA, WV, , IA
  • Pharmacy manager or supervisory experience (minimum 1–2 years)
  • Bachelor’s or Pharm.

    D. degree from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience; oncology background preferred
  • Specialty pharmacy experience and knowledge of accreditation standards ideal
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and technology
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs occasionally
  • Frequent sitting, occasional standing/walking/reaching
  • Exposure to patients, medicinal preparations, and chemotherapeutic agents
