Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa, located on the Woodstork and Temple Terrace campuses, will open in February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new facility featuring 60 private patient rooms and two rehab therapy gyms equipped with cutting‑edge technology.
Position SummaryIndependently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, and delivers or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged impairments. The role maximizes function in activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Responsibilities include addressing dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components, and implementing interventions to promote safety and performance in ADL, IADL, education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.
PayRate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.
Minimum Qualifications- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (online certification is not acceptable)
- Inpatient rehabilitation experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and prioritization skills.
- Strong analytical and critical‑thinking skills.
- Detail‑oriented with the ability to meet strict time frames.
