Job Summary And Qualifications

Our imaging teams are a committed, caring group of professionals. We are currently seeking a Florida‑licensed Radiology Technologist for a full‑time opportunity. As an X‑Ray Tech on our team, you will take radiographs (x‑rays) of patients to assist physicians in diagnoses/treatment and carefully perform procedures accurately and in a compassionate and respectful manner.

Your tasks and responsibilities as a Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) may include:
  • Possess sound and thorough knowledge of all diagnostic radiographic procedures and related equipment including surgical, portable, trauma, general and fluoroscopic.
  • Obtain high‑quality radiographic and fluoroscopic images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation; use appropriate lead markers as well as date and time stickers where indicated.
  • Select proper and accurate technical factors and techniques to accommodate patients and assist in administration of contrast media.
  • Prepare, transfer and position patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safely utilizing auxiliary equipment and/or devices.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time.
  • Maintain proactive and effective communication with patients, caregiver colleagues and the radiologist.
  • Check the operation of the equipment, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment to prevent cross‑contamination of contagious diseases and keep room stocked with linens and necessary supplies.
