Healthcare Patient Customer Service Representative
Schedule:
Monday - Friday (no weekends)
Experience:
Minimum of one year
Travel required:
None
- Answer patient calls regarding EOB and research balances.
- Manage patient refunds.
- Process patient payments.
- A minimum of one year of experience in medical billing and collections required.
- Current knowledge of medical billing and reimbursement for commercial insurance, Medicaid and Medicare.
- Thorough understanding of EOBs, and the ability to effectively communicate by phone and in writing with patients.
- Consistently demonstrate extensive attention to detail, organization and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to provide a positive customer service experience to clients, guests, and patients.
- Self-motivated, multitasking and a team player.
