The Senior Adult Information Associate (SAIA) will support the Digital Aging and Cancer Center at the Moffitt Cancer Center. This position assists and supports the Digital Senior Adult consultation initiative by formatting clinical requests for digital queries to the Collaborative Data Services Core, sorting and clarification of data in the clinical context, creation of consultation templates and providing support for the quality improvement efforts of the initiative.
Primary job tasks include using multiple electronic systems to input data and using standardized criteria to classify the patient s therapeutic history information. The SAIA will also be expected to use formatted templates to draft on-demand case scenario summaries for clinical interpretation by the Senior Adult medical team. Other related duties as assigned by appropriate Leadership.
- Format clinical requests for digital queries to the Collaborative Data Services Core.
- Sort and clarify data in the clinical context.
- Create consultation templates and draft on-demand case scenario summaries for clinical interpretation by the Senior Adult medical team.
- Assist with quality improvement efforts of the Digital Aging and Cancer Center initiative.
- Input data across multiple electronic systems and apply standardized criteria to classify the patient s therapeutic history information.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by appropriate Leadership.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years related healthcare experience and experience in data collection and organization.
