Credit & Collections Specialist Senior

LocationThis role requires associates to be in-office 1 – 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity while allowing flexible virtual work. Associates must be within a reasonable commuting distance of an Elevance Health office unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.
How You Will Make an ImpactPrimary duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Follow established guidelines and contact groups to collect past‑due insurance premiums or health insurance claims.
- Research the validity of past‑due or disputed debt.
- Generate demand letters.
- Prepare reports reflecting the status of credit and collection activities for management review.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of commercial debt collection experience; or any combination of education and experience that provides an equivalent background.
