• Performs direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers of patients within the endoscopy suite, holding, and recovery areas.
• Orients patients and significant others to the unit.
• Maintains environment by cleaning and storing equipment, disposing of linens, and stocking supplies
• Keeps patient areas clear of trash and clutter, cleans, disinfects and sterilizes endoscopy equipment and stretchers
• On-call, weekend and perform other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
• Must have computer, written and verbal communication skills appropriate to the position
• Show strong organizational, customer service, time management, administrative, and clerical skills

• Required – BLS (Basic Life Support)

• Required – High School or Equivalent

• Preferred – 1 year – Related field
