CNA​/HHA Caregiver for Seniors

Home Helpers of Westchase, an in-home senior care agency, is looking for experienced caregivers that are interested in growing their skills within the senior care industry. Our Caregivers are not only reliable, dependable and honest, but also compassionate and caring.

• Providing companionship and activities in clients residences
• Assisting with fall prevention tasks while bathing and dressing
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and linen changing
• Planning and preparing meals
• Providing medication reminders
• Providing transportation to and from appointments and shopping
• Assist clients with mobility for fall prevention

• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
• 1 year of proven work experience and ability to interpret the client’s provided plan of care
• Dependable with valid driver’s license and transportation
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
• People oriented with a caring and compassionate personality
• Must be able to be reached via cell phone and email for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
• Prior experience with senior care patients is required and with dementia patients a plus!
• Must speak English proficiently and have a High School degree
• Must live within 15 miles of Westchase zip 33626 (North Tampa, Carrollwood, Lutz, Odessa, Town 'n Country)

Compensation: $11-$12
