Job Title Behavioral Health Technician - Men’s Residential

Tampa, FL

$15.00 per hour (incl. $1.50 shift differential for overnight and weekend hours)

Non‑Exempt PRN – shifts include weekends.

AS needed.

• Monitor and chart client behavior.
• Assist with recreational activities.
• Transport clients as required (subject to insurance approval).
• Submit incident reports.
• Participate in client staffing and team meetings.
• Perform house checks.
• Enforce house rules and curfew.
• Monitor urine drug screens.
• Provide administrative support.

• Strong customer service skills.
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical.
• Ability to carry or move at least 25 pounds.
• Desire to grow within the behavioral health field (plus).

• One year related experience working with youth in substance abuse or mental health counseling.
• Experience engaging with youth and families to facilitate change.
• Bilingual preferred (additional $1,000 bonus for certification; testing provided by COVE).
