Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for reviewing patient history and physician's orders. This role involves educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure their understanding and cooperation. The technologist will prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications, monitor patient conditions, and report/respond to changes in status as appropriate. Responsibilities also include preparing equipment and supplies, implementing safety standards, performing quality control procedures, troubleshooting equipment malfunctions, positioning patients, performing imaging procedures, and analyzing results for image quality issues.
Responsibilities- Review patient history and physician orders.
- Educate patients on procedures and equipment.
- Prepare and administer contrast media and/or medications as ordered.
- Continuously monitor patient conditions.
- Prepare equipment and supplies for procedures.
- Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures.
- Troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions.
- Position patients and conduct imaging procedures.
- Analyze imaging results and resolve quality issues.
- Enter and report scan results accurately.
This position requires a commitment to a schedule of Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure- Must have BLS certification (American Heart Association).
- Must have ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
- Must possess a Florida CT/Rad Tech license.
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Radiology and CT.
- Must be able to float between X-ray and CT departments.
