Experienced Pharmacy Technicians with Phone Sales Experience Wanted!

CLRx Pharmacy is a specialty pharmacy conveniently located off Waters Ave and Dale Mabry Hwy. We are a closed door specialty pharmacy which handles business primarily on the phone. This is the perfect job for individuals with great phone communication skills who are tired of the day to day of working in a traditional retail pharmacy. FULL time positions are available with health insurance, paid time off, flexible hours, weekends off and more.

Hours of Operation are Monday-Friday 9AM to 6PM (Closed on Major Holidays).

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and sales-driven Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are looking for an individual with prior pharmacy experience, excellent telephone communication skills, and a proven ability to engage patients and healthcare offices over the phone to support prescription orders and drive pharmacy business. The ideal candidate is comfortable making and receiving calls, building strong customer relationships, following up on prescription opportunities, and delivering outstanding service while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls with patients, medical offices, and healthcare professionals regarding prescriptions and pharmacy services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients and healthcare office staff.
• Assist with prescription intake, processing, data entry, refill coordination, and other duties within the technician’s authorized scope.
• Follow up on pending prescriptions and help resolve routine issues efficiently.
• Maintain accurate documentation and protect confidential patient information.
• Work closely with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth, patient-focused workflow.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a pharmacy technician (at least 1 year)
• Excellent verbal communication, persuasion, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and handling a high volume of incoming calls.
• Ability to build rapport, overcome customer objections professionally, and follow up consistently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
• Florida pharmacy technician registration and any other credentials required for assigned duties.

Preferred Experience

• Prior telephone-based prescription sales, pharmacy sales, or prescription outreach experience is strongly preferred
• Experience communicating with medical offices and coordinating prescription requests.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic prescription workflows.
• A goal-oriented mindset with a strong interest in customer engagement and business growth.

All outreach and sales activities must comply with applicable pharmacy laws, privacy requirements, prescription rules, and pharmacist supervision requirements.
