Location:

North Tampa

Compensation: $50,000 to $60,000

We’re looking for a Banquet Captain to oversee banquet operations, manage staff schedules, and ensure that every detail of our events runs seamlessly. You will be the point person for staff and guests, coordinating service, managing logistics, and maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

• Welcome and assist guests upon arrival and seating
• Support managers and event organizers with layouts and logistics
• Create and manage staff schedules and shifts
• Train banquet staff in service etiquette and guest care
• Oversee event setup and coordinate food and beverage service
• Communicate with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth flow
• Monitor inventory of supplies and equipment
• Address guest requests, questions, and concerns
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the event

• High school diploma or GED (Hospitality degree preferred)
• 3+ years of experience as a Banquet Captain or similar role
• Strong leadership, organizational, and time management skills
• Excellent communication abilities and customer service mindset
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in fast-paced environments
• Physically fit with stamina for lifting/moving furniture and being on your feet
• Flexibility to work long hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays
