Hotel Front Desk
The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily front desk operations while delivering exceptional guest service in alignment with Marriott brand standards. This role is hands-on at the front desk, supporting guest check-ins and check-outs, serving as Manager on Duty when assigned, training and coaching front desk associates, and ensuring proper use of Marriott systems including GXP.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily front desk operations to ensure smooth, efficient service
Actively work the front desk, assisting with guest check-in and check-out
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) as scheduled, addressing guest concerns and operational needs
Ensure excellent guest satisfaction and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner
Train, coach, and support front desk staff on procedures, service standards, and Marriott brand expectations
Ensure proper knowledge and use of Marriott systems, including GXP (Guest Experience Platform)
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards
Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
Assist with scheduling, shift coverage, and daily reporting as needed
QualificationsPrevious hotel front desk or hospitality experience required
Marriott experience preferred
Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
Strong guest service and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of Marriott systems, including GXP, preferred
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Physical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs as needed
